What HRV shows
HRV describes the differences in time between successive heartbeats. Under suitable measurement conditions, it provides information about autonomic nervous system regulation. We consider measurement quality, breathing, time of day, medication and your health when interpreting the results.
How we work with your results
First, we discuss your daily life and goals. We then take a suitable measurement and explain the main findings. During HRV biofeedback, you can observe how calm, individually adjusted breathing affects the measurement curve. We use this to develop short exercises for home.
How we assess progress
We review repeated measurements under comparable conditions alongside sleep, body awareness and daily experiences. The aim is to understand and practise recovery. A single low reading is not a diagnosis; a higher reading alone does not mean an overall improvement in health.
