What happens during IHHT
IHHT stands for intermittent hypoxia–hyperoxia training. You alternate between air with a lower oxygen concentration and oxygen-enriched air. This differs from medically prescribed oxygen therapy. Oxygen saturation and pulse are monitored throughout the session.
Before your first session
We discuss medical conditions, medication and your current capacity. Relevant pre-existing conditions require medical assessment. Device settings are selected according to your individual situation and the device’s instructions. There is no single protocol for everyone.
Possibilities and limitations
IHHT is being studied in relation to exercise capacity and metabolism, among other areas. Results depend on the population and training protocol. They do not justify general promises of healing, guaranteed cellular rejuvenation or replacing necessary treatment. We decide whether a trial is appropriate after an individual assessment.
